Police were called to a home on Blencowe Street in Elizabeth Grove about 7.30pm yesterday following reports two people had broken in, confronted the residents and stole cash.
A 51-year-old man was taken to hospital after being injured with a knife.
His injury isn’t life threatening.
A crime scene has been established and police are now investigating.
