A man has died in the middle of a residential road in Melbourne’s north-east.
He was found unconscious on Manchester Road in Mooroolbark about 1.55am today and treated by paramedics.
He, however, died at the scene.
The man has not been formally identified.
Police have established a crime scene and are trying to understand what happened.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
