Police say the toddler was struck by a blue Holden Trailblazer SUV just before 5pm (AEST) yesterday at an address on Jade Street in Emerald.
The girl was taken to Emerald Hospital with life-threatening injuries, but later died.
Police are investigating and have urged anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to come forward.
