An out-of-control bushfire is burning in The Razor, Alpine National Park.

Authorities warn the blaze is growing to the north and south and residents in Abbeyard, Howitt Plains, Mount Buller, Rose River, Wabonga and Wonnangatta have been urged to stay informed and keep up-to-date with the latest advice.

This fire is part of the greater fire in the Wonnangatta Dargo Complex.

“There is currently no threat to communities, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions,” Vic Emergency said.
