An 11-year-old boy has died and a man has been hospitalised after a quad bike crash on a mango farm in the Northern Territory.
Emergency services were called to a farm in the Darwin River region after reports that a quadbike carrying a child and a 38-year-old man had crashed into a tree.
Police and St John Ambulance found the boy unresponsive and the man with leg injuries.
CPR was immediately conducted, however the boy could not be revived, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment to his injuries.
It is not known his current condition, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police have confirmed the Major Crash Investigation is investigating the accident.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the crash to make contact with police on 131 444, and are instructed to quote the reference number P25294992.
