Man who fell from jetty missing in remote seas

A search is underway today for a man who went missing in remote waters off the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia.

Emergency services were alerted about 1 am when the man was reported to have fallen into the sea from the jetty at Coffin Bay, about 700km south-west of Adelaide.

Police and local search-and-rescue teams are trying to find the man.

Police water units are joining the search.

Anyone who may have witnessed the man falling into the sea should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and quote 316975.
