Multiple homes have been damaged or destroyed as an out-of-control bushfire bears down on part of the NSW Central Coast, about an hour north of Sydney.
Footage shows multiple properties on fire.
The fire is burning south behind Glenrock Parade towards Lara Street, the RFS said.
Residents in Nimbin Road, Glenrock Parade and Lara Street have been advised to head towards Woy Woy immediately if the path is clear.
Video shows the inferno tearing through at least four homes adjacent to the train line.
Trains cancelled by bushfire
Trains on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line have been cancelled between Gosford and the Hawkesbury River due to the fire.
Transport NSW warned trains on the line may stop at platforms or between stations for longer than normal.
Replacement buses have been ordered but are not yet on site, Transport NSW said.
Passengers are advised to allow plenty of extra travel time, listen to announcements and check information displays for service updates.
Fire crews are still working to contain that fire but it is under control.
Temperatures across NSW are soaring today, with parts of Sydney nudging 40 degrees.
Sydney’s south-west recorded a top of 40.2 degrees just before 2pm, while it was 36.7 degrees at Sydney Airport.
The city is expected to reach a top of 39 degrees today.
