Major crime detectives travelled to the remote town of Andamooka, where the mother went missing in what police say are suspicious circumstances.

Today they searched across the rugged landscape on the outskirts of the township looking for any trace of the 41-year-old.

Police have been scouring bushland in the South Australian outback as they hunt for clues in the case of missing mum Trisha Graf (9News)

Police officers were joined by the SES and concentrated on several areas east of the town where it’s believed Graf was last seen. So far, the search has not unearthed any new evidence.

Police say Graf disappeared in the early hours of December 12.

She had driven to Roxby Downs, purchasing alcohol from the Roxby Tavern, before returning to a gathering in Andamooka.

Shortly after, she left and was meant to drive the short distance home, but she never arrived.
