Following inquiries, a 19-year-old woman was arrested in December in connection with the stabbing, and she remains before the courts.

More recently, at about 10.20am on January 7, police arrested a 19-year-old man in Silverwater.

He was charged with multiple offences, including murder and wounding with intent to murder.

He was refused bail and will appeal in court today.

Police have also released CCTV of three men they believe can assist the investigation.

The trio, believed to be aged in their 20s, are seen walking along a street in Mount Druitt.

They wear black hoodies and track pants. Two wear black shoes and one wears white shoes.

Anybody with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers online or on 1800 333 000.
