A teenager is set to face court today after the alleged stabbing of a 17-year-old during a brawl in Sydney’s west on Tuesday night.
Police were called to an address in Shalvey after receiving reports that a brawl had broken out in a driveway where a party of about 40 people was taking place.
When they arrived, officers found a 17-year-old boy with multiple stab wounds.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Police later established a crime scene and began investigating the incident.
Knives were allegedly found at the scene.
Investigations led to the arrest of a 16-year-old boy at a Blacktown shopping centre at 1.30pm yesterday.
He was taken to Blacktown Police Station, where he was later charged with attempted murder.
He was refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Court today.
It is understood that the gathering blew up after the short-term rental location was posted on Facebook, claiming it was an open house party.
