A teenager has been hospitalised after allegedly being attacked with a knife during an armed robbery.

One of those charged was on bail when the young victims were allegedly ambushed in Melbourne’s south-east.

One person allegedly pulls a knife from his pants cornering the 19-year-old victim on a Pakenham porch.

He tries to defend himself and is slashed on the arm but manages to get away seconds later.

Local man Norman Vellien said he was “shocked”.

“We didn’t expect this to happen right next door to our house,” he said.

Police allege the teens pulled up next to the victim and his mate in a stolen Range Rover.

When their demands weren’t met a brawl erupted outside an innocent couple’s house.

The chaos unfolded in broad daylight.

Melodie Vellien said they’re glad their son wasn’t close by.

“Imagine if my son was just outside playing, you know, he would be caught,” she said.

The female allegedly made off with the victim’s bag while he stumbled to a nearby station and was taken to hospital.

The 14-year-old alleged attacker was on bail at the time.

He has been remanded in custody, while a 16-year-old boy and girl have been charged and released back into the community.

“They need to be more penalised for what they’re doing. Because they’re not scared,” Mrs Vellien said.
