A specialist Air Ambulance helicopter was deployed to Diamond Bay in Sorrento just after 10am today following reports the teen had fallen about three metres.

They were treated on the rocks for a non-life-threatening leg injury, before being winched from the scene.

The teenager is expected to be airlifted to hospital for further treatment.

Diamond Bay is a popular ocean beach on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula surrounded by impressive sandstone cliffs.
