Adasyn Wood Savin was in Roseberry in the state’s north-west when the quad bike she was riding collided with a ute on the Murchison Highway on Saturday.

The 40-year-old man who was driving the ute was uninjured and underwent mandatory testing.

“She was having fun, spending time with friends, and making memories the way any 16-year-old should,” Ella Mackrell, who created a GoFundMe to raise money for the teen’s family, said.

“[She was] a beautiful 16-year-old girl who tragically passed away far too soon.”

Mackrell added that the loss was “devastating” for Savin’s family.

The fundraiser that has been created for Savin’s family has since raised over $17,500.

A report into the two deaths has been prepared for the coroner.
