Two people have been hit with multiple trafficking charges after more than 20 guns, as well as illicit drugs, were seized in Melbourne’s north-west.
Police executed a search warrant on a home on Peck Avenue in Strathmore yesterday morning.

A search of the house uncovered 23 firearms, including an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, automatic pistols, 3D printed handguns and several broken down double barrelled shotguns.

LSD, cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine were all allegedly located in the house. (Supplied)

Revolvers, a luger pistol and 400 rounds of ammunition were also found, as well as amounts of ketamine, MDMA, cocaine, LSD and heroin.

All of the items were seized by police for further testing and investigation.

A 31-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested after the search.

They have since been charged with trafficking large commercial quantities of ketamine, trafficking large commercial quantities of amphetamine, trafficking commercial quantities of cocaine, and possessing a trafficable quantity of firearms.

They will appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
